SG-1 Pistol Belt

Another piece of the Stargate Off-World Outfit puzzle! The pistol belt attaches to your vest with all those loops and is what your leg holster attaches to.

I got mine at my local army/navy/military store for around $10. But you can also purchase one off amazon.com for about the same price. Make sure it looks like this:

Unless you want a different one, the first pictures are canon.

Once your pistol belt arrives you can adjust it to your body and attach it to your vest. The vest, pistol belt and leg holster all become one unit when on or off, so they can be taken off or be put on together, at the same time. Essential for those unexpected missions that pop up and you need to grab your gear and go!

SG-1 BDU Belt

What a horror it would be if you were in the middle of a battle with the Goa'uld and your pants fall down?! Pants around the ankles makes escape that much more tricky. Belts are essential! But you probably want one that matches your SG-1 outfit.

The first belt you'll need is the BLACKHAWK! Universal BDU Belt (52in.) in Olive Drab.

Here are the best places to get the most accurately colored belt:
Search for 'universal bdu belt' and it will be the first option that pops up by Blackhawk.
Search for 'universal bdu belt' and you'll find it listed by Black Hawk Inc.

You can get either of these for around $9-$10.
In some pictures, the green may look a bit lighter than it actually is. This belt is awesome and matches really well. The material isn't stiff but very flexible and smooth! Excellent quality and will last through all those battles.

Once your BDU belt arrives you may notice that the buckle in the front is also olive colored. (Mine was when I got it) But their buckles are black in the picture! Yes. Yes they are. So what you can do is simply and carefully use a good black sharpie to just color it. That's exactly what I did and it looks great and still hasn't come off.
Here's a picture of mine:

One last thing on this belt- it comes 52 inches long. It's up to you if you want to cut it down or just tuck it into the many convenient belt loops of your BDU pants (that are no longer falling down). I haven't cut mine down, so I'm not sure the best way to go around that. But my guess is that you'd want to leave some length for water weight/muscle gain/other body changes. And the end will probably need to be glued, seared, sewn or something to keep it from unravelling.

All the team members wear it so it must be great!
